The past few weeks have been filled with the usual summer activities: listening to people complain about the heat, avoiding going to the river like the plague, muddling a thousand mojitos and margaritas at work, riding my motorbike around town, sitting on patios, applying sunblock, barbecuing on the porch. I also just hosted my Arizona pal Lauren and met with a few other AZ ex-pats, and as soon as Lauren returned to the desert it rained.
Basically, I’ve not been able to spend a great deal of time in the studio, or at the computer for that matter. As they say, YOLO and shit.
However, in these times when I AM in the studio I work at break-neck speeds, fueled by caffeine and the mega intense symphonies on the classical music station (DUDE SO INTENSE). This past week I began work on a piece for another show at the Pony Club Gallery.
That’s all you get to see of my giant bunny until the show opens!
The show will be entitled “GIANTS” and is opening Thursday, Sept 6th at 6pm at the Pony Club. I’ll be there, and I also plan on attending this at Floating World Comics later in the evening. Julia Gfrörer’s webcomic can be found on the Study Group site and is updated weekly. You should click on all of those things.
Speaking of comics, I’m all sold out of my copies of Adult Babysitting: Volume I! Thanks to every single person that bought one, and to every single drunk person who inspired me. You’re all the best.
There are still copies floating around Portland, mainly comic shops. Check back here for updates on the new issue.
Hearts,

Sorry to say that, cuz it has nothing to do with your work, but…I REALLY love your Honda
It’s okay. I approve of giggling.
Those photos are really beautiful.
I really enjoy your drawing style, I’ll buy your book eventually :p
