November is an exciting month. It marks the beginning of my new membership with a rad Portland gallery, the Pony Club. I’ve been a long-time admirer of the gallery ever since I first stepped foot in 2007, and now I’m joining ranks with some very talented local artists. My fellow members include:
As a member of the collective, I’ll be regularly contributing new works to each monthly show, as well hosting my own solo show and a curated group show.
The Pony Club Gallery is a friend to local artists and a big supporter of the comics community. I’m very happy to be welcomed into this little family.
That being said, I just finished up a new piece for the HAUNTED show, which opens next Thursday!

And, finally:
“Float” addresses my fear of drowning. I dunno about you, but the idea of drowning gives me anxiety. I may have been haunted by one or two nightmares about it. At least this little lady got to do it in style, with a billowy cloak emblazoned with a giant eyeball.

Congrats on getting picked up by a gallery, its a dream I wish to fufill too :p
