Battle Bear

Battle Bear

12 x 12″

OH HAI.  How are you guys?  Long time no blog.

Been busily sculpting and even managed to cram in an island getaway, but back in the studio now to continue the frenzy.

I just dabbed the finishing touches on this piece last evening.  Inspired by Japanese pop-punk band N’Shukugawa Boys, this album art was created for a group show called 12inch OTAKU.  Curated by Hellion Gallery, the show will open this month in Tokyo at the legendary Hatos Bar.  Not only do I wish I could fulfill my dream of visiting Tokyo by attending the opening, I want to eat all dat delicious BBQ!  Oh man.

If you’re in Tokyo, go for the show, stay for the ribs.  Then send me a picture to make me jealous.
