TA DAAAAAAAA

We are literally ecstatic to finally announce the official launch of the Lemolo Baggage website!!

When Eli first approached Jake & I to help him launch his new line of bags, we knew we were in for something special.  It’s been months in the making, with trips to the beach, motorcycle rides, and collaborating with amazing people to pull this all off.

Special thanks to our photographer Dylan Long, contributing photographer Tim Roth,  our LookBook models and real-life buddies, and to our web developer Taylor Eke.

So take a look around, and browse the shop!

Lemolo | Hand-Lettering & Portraiture

As the site-build continues for Lemolo Baggage, I put together my own handmade contributions by lettering site headers  & drawing Eli’s handsome mug (and faithful pup Louis).

These are the raw images, which will be edited down by Jake, refined, and made to look fancier for the site.  However, it should be noted that Eli looks GQ and fancy without any editing.

We are super excited to launch the site – and when that finally happens, I’ll be sharing those results right here.

P.G.F. | Lemolo

Behold, a wall of Lemolo at last Saturdays’s Portland Garment Factory House Show!  PGF was hosting the launch of their first fall collection and showing off other wares in their pop-up shop, including those by esteemed purveyor Elias Grey.

Lemolo | In the City

A couple weeks ago we wrapped up the second part of the Lemolo Baggage photoshoot in NE Portland.  While the first half including sweeping images of the stark and beautiful Oregon coast, this shoot was to demonstrate city usage of Lemolo, even as a trusty waterproof motorcycle bag.

The images above are just a few of my favorite raw photos.  Photographer Dylan Long captured some casual strolls, coffee shop sippin’, and me & my lil’ Honda riding off with Lemolo on my back (I now absolutely loathe my ugly army surplus bag).

Look for the next stage, where Eagle & Wolf brings you the website launch, product line, and Lemolo LookBook.

LEMOLO REPRESENT!

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you’d already know that Jake and I just spent the last couple days on the coast working with a crew of people for the Lemolo Baggage photoshoot.

I don’t know what kind of briberies were paid, but we were granted with some seriously stellar weather, and the beautiful Oregon coast provided the perfect backdrop for a LookBook shoot showcasing Eli’s newest line of backpacks and duffelbags.

And on top of all that, we had a great group of people to hang out with, indulging in home-cooked meals and bonfires on the beach.  Many thanks to the wonderful Lemolo crew and to photographer Dylan Long.

The next step will be to develop the LookBook design and web page for Lemolo; we all look forward to seeing the final outcome of this amazing project.

Sometimes the most memorable holidays are the ones that are casual and spontaneous.  My idea of a good Fourth doesn’t involve downtown or the waterfront or even fireworks, just good company, a good patio, bicycles, and food carts.  Because, really, that’s the definition of a good Portland summer.

As we lazed about the patio of Apex and imbibed delicious beer, our buddy Chad rolled by with his Fifty Licks Ice Cream truck.  Portlanders, if you haven’t tried his handmade ice cream yet, you SHOULD!  It is soooooo gooooooood.

I regret not capturing Chad during his visit, but he was a blur of action!  A charming and gracious Ice Cream host, as per usual.

Despite the festivities and the mission to do “Nothing”, I still managed to utilize paint brush and sketchbook for part of the day:

America’s birthday was a good day.  Cheers!
