Yeah, Kanye and Jay-Z just released their new video for the single “Otis”, in which they chop up some ridiculously expensive car and jam around the desert with some babes, all while rappin’ over samples from Otis Redding’s Try A Little Tenderness.
But really, watching that video only made me want to hear the actual track.
And beyond that, Otis rules over both Kanye and Jay-Z, any day. Can’t mess with that.
Otis died in a plane crash at the age of 26, just days before “(Sittin’ On) The Dock of a Bay” was released and later hit number one on the Billboards – the first single to do so posthumously in US chart history.
